How exciting it was to arrive at Dreamwidth and find 47 notifications in my inbox! I have a whole host of new friends whom I'd like to welcome to my journal.

Crave TV charges $7.99 a month and has all the Doctor Who seasons of the new series. I'm considering signing up for it, but I'm a little worried that it will mean me spending more time than I already do camped out watching TV!

When David Tennant was Doctor, he was my favourite. After I got adjusted to Matt Smith, he was my favourite. There are things I love about both of them. My favourite episode is Vincent and the Doctor, wow, it was beautiful. What about you? Favourite episode? Favourite doctor, even if you're not sure?!

I think I'll always have a soft spot for Eccleston because he was the first Doctor I knew, but I also really loved Tennant as the Doctor. But I don't know. I like all of them. I feel like Smith got one of the coolest intro episode ever. Capaldi has a very expressive face and I really like his style. Nah, I can't decide.

Vincent and the Doctor is my favourite episode, too! It was at the same time heart-warming and heart-breaking. And it was so visually beautiful, too.

If I were forced to choose right this minute, I think Matt Smith would win. There's just something about him that makes me a) laugh and b) feel very safe, which is the perfect combination for the Doctor. I also find him compellingly attractive, which doesn't hurt.

And his intro is incredible. I just re-watched it last night. So much fun.

The music in Vincent and the Doctor is so perfectly done, it's another of the things I love about the episode, as well as the fact that my favourite actor - Bill Nighy - plays a role in it. It's the perfect episode.

Agreed. Plus, the music on DW is usually pretty great in general.
