Ugh, there is nothing worse than noise when you need a little quiet. We live on a 2 acre lot with 9 neighbours bordering our property. We never used to be able to see them because of all the trees but recently one rather annoying neighbour cut down most of the screening trees at the back of his yard so his annoying barking dogs see us in our living spaces and bark their heads off all day long. We have to get curtains now, which is a drag - I liked the illusion of living in the trees.
